Dance At the Stone House is an interactive event for 5 dancers and 60-80 fourth-sixth graders created by Louise Reichlin in 2007. With 4 performances this year, it is about the architecture of the historic 1925 building and the children’s art work it houses. The location is the Sun Valley Youth Arts Center. Each group of students (in 5’s since #’s in each room are restricted) explore the house and how it was built, and examine the artwork done by the Center's students. Each learns their part in the final dance. Parts include woodchoppers, logs, stone carriers, sea creature, animals, and musicians.
