Alfred Desio was born August 29, 1932 and he died on February 14, 2007 in Los Angeles after a 9 month battle with cancer. About a month later there was a "funeral celebration" in his honor at the Colburn School where he had taught for 30 years. The bio slide/show was compiled by me and run on a computer with live narration along with a series of videos of his tap work, both traditional and electronic. Scores of Alfred's students and friends spoke, danced, sang, and played music at an open mike during the interactive program, which concluded with a tap jam.
